A little bit about me:
I am a certified Personal Trainer that focuses on injury prevention and injury management in Central Austin. I have experience working with multiple injuries and conditions.
Regardless if you are interested in weight loss or gaining lean muscle, my goal is to safely assist you yet push you toward achieving your desired fitness results. I have been training varied clientele since 1996. I have trained middle and high school athletes through seniors with several different goal sets. I have training experience in both weight loss and weight gain in both genders. I like to try to keep my clients motivated through fun, safe, and functional workouts that keep them challenged while steering them towards their goals for a lifetime. My main desire is long term fitness techniques as opposed to quick fixes. I have a special interest in training young female athletes in injury prevention. Female athletes are 2-8x more likely to suffer Anterior Cruciate Ligament injuries. Some of these injuries can be career ending.
I have a degree in Exercise Science from Ball State University and possess 2-certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine: Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I am also a certified Dynamax Trainer. Additionally, I have a Master’s in Human Movement from A.T. Still University. Call me and we’ll arrange for a complementary training session.
